National Alliance on Mental Illness
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. The toll-free NAMI HelpLine responds personally to hundreds of thousands of requests each year, providing free referral, information and support—a much-needed lifeline for many.
National Maternal Mental Health Hotline
The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline provides free, confidential support before, during, and after pregnancy. The Hotline offers: phone or text access to professional counselors; real-time support and information; resources; referrals to local and telehealth providers and support groups; culturally sensitive support; counselors who speak English and Spanish; interpreter services in 60 languages; and response within a few minutes, 24 hours a day.
National Mental Health Association Information Center
The National Mental Health Association maintains a referral and information center and can help you locate local chapters. These local groups have information about community services and engage in national and state level advocacy.
