The Domestic Violence Awareness Center provides children’s services including visitation and self-confidence programs, advocacy within the justice system both in civil and criminal proceedings, and community education on domestic violence topics. Serves Brooke and Hancock counties.

Task Force on Domestic Violence, HOPE, Inc. - Harrison County Outreach Office
HOPE operates a shelter facility in Fairmont for those in need. They also assist clients with financial needs such as utility payments, rent, childcare, and many other various expenses as an individual works to begin their life free of violence. Additionally, they have support groups and community training. The headquarters is located in Marion County.
