Crisis Services of North Alabama (CSNA) provides trauma-informed, comprehensive services to victims, including: Court advocacy, counseling for adult and child victims, case management, information and referrals, and educational instruction regarding health and safety issues, legal rights and employment interviewing. County Coordinators provide assistance to victims of family violence in each of the four North Alabama counties served by CSNA. County Coordinators can be reached at the individual county offices Mon - Fri 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

The YWCA operates two confidentially located shelters for women and children fleeing abusive homes. Counselors help these women make safety plans, obtain jobs or job training and work toward independence and self-sufficiency. The shelters serve Blount, Jefferson and St. Clair counties.
