Southeast Advocates of Family Empowerment, through it’s SAFE program, serves survivors of domestic violence and their children. SAFE provides 24-hour crisis intervention in Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, and Washington parishes, and rapid rehousing in Washington Parish. The agency’s services include: a 24-hour hotline, safety planning, individual/group counseling, emergency food and clothing, temporary lodging, transitional housing, transportation, legal advocacy, court preparation, and court accompaniment.

The Wellspring Alliance for Families - Tensas Parish
The Wellspring Alliance for Families, through the Domestic Violence Program, offers free and confidential services to adults and children in abusive relationships. The Wellspring offers services that help survivors of domestic violence have a life free from emotional, physical, economical and sexual abuse. Services are available for residents staying at the shelter and non-residents living in a 12 parish region. Serving Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin, LaSalle, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas and West Carroll Parishes.

The Haven offers emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis helpline, counseling, legal advocacy, parenting classes, transitional housing, and community education to survivors of domestic violence.
