Oasis, formerly the Calcasieu Women’s Shelter and Rape Crisis Outreach, supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Domestic Violence Program offers a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, residential services, outreach services, a children’s program, legal advocacy, and community education. The Sexual Assault Program offers a 24-hour hotline, medical and legal advocacy, counseling, support groups, criminal justice assistance, and community education. Serving Calcasieu, Allen, Beauregard, Cameron, and Jeff Davis parishes.

Iris Domestic Violence Center serves victims of domestic violence and their children. Services include 24-hour crisis line; emergency shelter; safety planning; danger assessment; support groups; children’s services; case management; advocacy and counseling; legal representation for protective order applicants; court advocacy; information and referral; relocation assistance and more. All services are free and confidential. Services are offered to residential (in-shelter) as well as nonresidential survivors. Iris DV Center serves the parishes of East Baton Rouge, Ascension, Iberville, West Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee, West Feliciana, and East Feliciana.

Faith House is a domestic violence crisis center and shelter for survivors and their children. Southeast Advocates of Family Empowerment - SAFE
Southeast Advocates of Family Empowerment, through it’s SAFE program, serves survivors of domestic violence and their children. SAFE provides 24-hour crisis intervention in Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, and Washington parishes, and rapid rehousing in Washington Parish. The agency’s services include: a 24-hour hotline, safety planning, individual/group counseling, emergency food and clothing, temporary lodging, transitional housing, transportation, legal advocacy, court preparation, and court accompaniment.
