Alternatives provides shelter system for victims of family violence or homelessness and their dependent children, transitional housing, crisis advocacy, Alternatives is 1 of 29 Indiana domestic violence shelters. Also serves six county area: Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Madison, Marion, and Tipton. The Alternative initiative also provides children, intervention and prevention programs, aswell as education and training.

Beacon of Hope Crisis Center
Beacon of Hope Crisis Center offers services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Central Indiana. Services include: safety planning, assistance with obtaining safe housing, counseling, help with protective orders, court and hospital accompaniment, medical referrals, emergency hotel stays, fostering pets while victim is in a shelter, and more. They also have programs for life skills, employment assistance, and support in navigating the criminal justice system. All services are free and confidential.
Firefly Children and Family Alliance
Firefly Children and Family Alliance provides professional counseling, free and voluntary services to survivors, and specialized programs to end violence and support survivor advocacy. Firefly also has a 24-hour hotline available and manages the Marion County Rape Crisis Center, which is available to those seeking emergency support.
Ruth Lilly Women & Children's Center
Ruth Lilly Women & Children’s Center, located in the downtown center, has its doors open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for homeless and abused women and their children. This center provides emergency shelter, medical attention, and social services in a safe, protected, and secure environment. The Julian Center
The Julian Center provides services to people experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking. Assistance focuses in helping survivors through collaborative advocacy and support to achieve long-term safety, stability and self-sufficiency. 24-Hour Crisis Line provides survivors with access to a trained crisis interventionist to discuss options. Emergency Shelter houses over 100 individuals, eligible survivors and their dependent children have access to a safe place to stay. Counseling and support group services are available and designed to offer an array of therapeutic options for survivors to help them heal from domestic and sexual violence and stalking.

Indiana University Sexual Assault Crisis Service
The Indiana University Sexual Assault Crisis Service provides crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and education programming. Available at no charge to any member of the Indiana University community. Also provides assistance with referrals for medical care, including (but not limited to) coordinating an examination by a trained sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE).
Middle Way House
Middle Way House works to empower survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and human trafficking through a wide range of supportive services and advocacy. Services include 24/7 emergency shelter and crisis line, on-scene advocacy, transitional and permanent housing solutions, legal advocacy, support groups, childcare, youth programs, educational and prevention programs.

Family Crisis Shelter of Montgomery County is a domestic violence and sexual assault residential shelter. Offering case management, legal advocacy, crisis intervention, youth program, transitional program, support and educational groups.
