The Haven provides services to individuals and their friends and family who have experienced sexual abuse, domestic violence, family violence or other related types of trauma. Services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, information and referrals, emergency shelter, safety planning, case management and support, legal advocacy, medical accompaniment, community based advocacy, peer counseling, and support and education groups. The Haven serves Northern Neck and Essex County.

Services include: case management, individual and group counseling, resources for children, coping skills, legal assistance, and court advocacy. Total Action Against Poverty
Total Action Against Poverty’s (TAP) Domestic Violence Service Center assists victims of domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, outreach counseling, case management, court advocacy and accompaniment, emergency and transitional housing, legal assistance, financial assistance for victims in a crisis situation, and support groups.
